Tahm Kench / NunuMain TankSunfire Cape, Warmog's Armor, Gargoyle StoneplateNone

Operational Strategy

After the hotfix, the chance of being cheesed by 3-star 4-cost units has decreased. This is currently the comp with the highest winrate. It's the top choice if your economy is good. Note: if Tahm Kench comes late, don't be greedy. This is the strongest comp in the current S17 version, revolving around the Novastar trait with Aatrox and Akali. Aatrox provides armor/magic shred for the entire team, while Akali grants critical strike chance to all, greatly boosting the output of 5-cost units like Graves, Fiora, and Vex. The standard comp forms at level 9, consisting of Aatrox, Akali, Maokai, Tahm Kench, Fiora, Shen, Morgana, and Graves, activating 2 Novastar, 2 Berserker, 2 Bastion, 2 Armored. Playable conditions include getting a strong economy augment at the start or achieving a win streak. If you can reach level 10, you can add Sona / Jhin / Maokai, etc. For items, physical carries Graves or Fiora use almost interchangeable items; prioritize giving them to higher quality heroes. Fiora prioritizes Edge of Night, Graves prioritizes Quicksilver. Vex must have Guinsoo's Rageblade, damage amplifying items, and Hextech Gunblade. Main tank Tahm Kench or Nunu should prioritize Sunfire Cape if there's no grievous wounds.

Emblem Recommendations: Get Novastar Emblem for Fiora or Graves to activate 5 Novastar; pick up Berserker Emblem for Graves.

In-Game Operation: Early game, prioritize 3 Seafolk with Talon carrying AD items or Bard carrying AS items for transition. Alternatively, use 2-star Caitlyn with Vex's items. If you're losing, you can add 2 Future for economy. If on a win streak, adding Future in Stage 4 doubles the benefits. Based on economy, HP, and contestedness, choose to go to level 9 and large roll at 4-2/4-5/4-7. If HP is around 50, roll for 2-star main tank + two 2-star carries, then go to 10. If HP is average, get three 2-star carries before going to 10 and adding recommended units. For positioning, generally position on the opponent's weak side, allowing Graves and Fiora to more easily cut to the backline, and also helping Vex stack dual attack.

Armored LeBlanc

Difficulty: Medium | Recommendation Index:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Rising Popularity

NunuMain TankFrozen Heart, Spirit VisageOther tank items
KarmaSecondary CarryVoid Staff, Spear of Shojin, Jeweled GauntletIonic Spark, Morellonomicon

Operational Strategy

This S17 comp is extremely strong, revolving around the "Judge" effect infinitely stacking Ability Power, and it's not easily contested. The standard comp at level 8 consists of Leona, Mordekaiser, Sapling, Zoe, Illaoi, Nunu, LeBlanc, and Karma, activating 4 Armored, 3 Judge, 3 Shepherd, 2 Darkstar, 2 Wanderer, 2 Arcanist.

Playable Conditions: Choosing the Judge effect that grants +AP after auto attacks/dealing 10 instances of damage is best. If it's AP gain from attack speed or other preconditions, you need good items to play. If you have a Shield Emblem, choose +Shield Effect = +AP.

Early Game Transition: Early game, use Zoe or Teemo to carry LeBlanc's items for transition and expand synergies. You can also choose Future or Seafolk for a lose streak to build economy, waiting for the Stage 3 carousel to get LeBlanc.

Mid Game Operation: Around 4-2, push to level 8 and roll for the recommended standard comp.

Late Game Completion: Around 4-5, roll for 2-star LeBlanc, 2-star Illaoi or Nunu, and if HP is healthy, consider going to level 9. If HP is average, stay at level 8, roll for all 2-stars to stabilize for top 4. At level 9, typically add Morgana. As long as it doesn't break 3 Judge, 2-star Bard or Blitzcrank can also be added directly. If you have 2-star Vex, you can replace LeBlanc and transition to Armored Nine-Five.

Emblem Recommendations: Get Armored Emblem for LeBlanc (activates 6 Armored); pick up Judge Emblem (allows Zoe to swap for Bard or Leona to swap for Blitzcrank).

Treant Corki

HeroRoleRecommended ItemsAlternative Items
CorkiMain CarryJeweled Gauntlet, Infinity Edge, Hand of JusticeBlue Buff
RammusMain TankCrownguard, Sunfire Cape, Gargoyle StoneplateWarmog's Armor
RivenSecondary CarryBloodthirster, Last WhisperNone

Operational Strategy

The core of this comp is the duplicate slot provided by the 7 Treant trait. Coupled with economy augments, it's easy to chase 3-star 4-cost units. The buffed Corki has high burst damage, and once completed, the chance of winning is extremely high.

Early Game Transition (Stages 2-1 to 3-2)

Prioritize getting 3 Treant, pair with Special Agent for a win streak. At the same time, add the "2 Future" trait (assisted by economy augments). You can also use 2 Mage + 2 Weaver of Fate system for a smooth transition, adjusting flexibly.

Mid Game Completion (Stage 4-2)

Rapidly level to 8 in Stage 4-2 to activate 7 Treant trait. At this point, you need to find 2-star Corki and 2-star Rammus to stabilize HP and lock in top 4.

Late Game Chasing 3-Stars (After Level 8)

After level 8, based on the number of units appearing on your board, prioritize chasing 3-star 4-cost units within the comp, such as Corki and Riven. Once you successfully get 3-star, you can essentially lock in the win and easily secure first place.

Spirit Auriel

Difficulty: Medium | Recommendation Index:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Rising Popularity

Core Equipment

HeroRoleRecommended ItemsAlternative Items
AurielMain CarryJeweled Gauntlet, Nashor's Tooth, Runaan's HurricaneVoid Staff
IllaoiMain TankGargoyle Stoneplate, Spirit Visage, Lionheart's LamentIonic Spark
DianaSecondary CarryBloodthirster, Titan's Resolve, Guinsoo's RagebladeRapid Firecannon, Whirlwind Slicer

Operational Strategy

This is an S17 version strategy relying on the "Spirit" cash-out trait. Playable condition is starting with 3 Spirit, or being on a 4-loss streak by 3-2 at the latest with suitable items. The standard comp forms at level 7, consisting of Leona, Sapling, Jinx, Illaoi, Diana, Auriel, and LeBlanc, activating 3 Spirit, 3 Judge, 3 Shepherd, 2 Challenger, 2 Wanderer, 2 Armored. Later, you can level up to add Rhaast, Galio, Morgana, etc. For Judge effects, prioritize "gain bonus resists or shield after dealing 10 instances of damage/auto attacks". Spirit stacks are determined by the loss streak situation; the goal is to cash out at multiples of 100. 200 stacks is acceptable, 300 stacks can stabilize HP, and 400 stacks is essentially a win.

Positioning: Auriel positions in the third slot from left or right, making it easier to hit more enemies with her ultimate. Diana and summons stand next to Illaoi to prevent being focused down first.

Augment Recommendations: Prioritize augments suitable for loss streaking or delayed power spikes, followed by economy augments, such as Little Giants, Patient Virtue, Heroic Satchel, Savings Account, etc. For Divine choices, Soraka, Varus, Kayle provide excellent bonuses; avoid Evelynn, Aurelion Sol, Ekko.

In-Game Operation: Mindlessly loss streak. Around 3-5 or 3-7, go to level 7, secure interest, and small roll. Safely leave two rounds of leeway. Cash out around 4-1. After cashing out, large roll for at least one 3-star 3-cost to stabilize HP. Unless heavily contested, chase 3-stars before leveling up to add Kayn.

Seafolk Bard

AkaliSecondary CarryHand of Justice, Edge of Night, Infinity EdgeSterak's Gage, Titan's Resolve
Rek'SaiMain TankSunfire Cape, Any tank itemWarmog's Armor, Dragon's Claw

Operational Strategy

Data improved after the hotfix. Few people are transitioning with Seafolk, and if items align, go for it. This S17 comp is suitable for beginners and is very strong. If you can get 3 Seafolk at the start or have suitable items, you can choose this. The standard comp is composed of Rek'Sai, Briar, Aatrox, Caitlyn, Akali, Bard, Maokai, and Kindred, activating 5 Novastar Special Agent, 3 Seafolk, 2 Bruiser, 2 Challenger, 2 Berserker.

Early Game Transition: If items are good and quality is high, you can choose to level to 4 at 2-1, 5 at 2-5, 6 at 3-2 for a win streak transition. If quality is low, you can use 3 Seafolk to passively save economy.

Mid Game Operation: After leveling to 6 at Stage 3-2, start rolling. Find 2-star Bard + 2-star Akali or one Maokai, then save money. Maintain interest to chase 3-star dual carries, then progressively level up to add Aatrox, Caitlyn. Low-cost Seafolk can be 3-starred casually.

Late Game Completion: After reaching level 8 and activating 5 Novastar, if you have no emblem, prioritize giving the selector to 2-star Maokai for full-screen control. If HP is average, roll at level 8 for 2-star Kindred, 3-star Maokai. If HP is healthy, you can directly level up to add recommended 5-cost units.

Emblem Recommendations: Get Novastar Emblem for Bard; pick up Seafolk Emblem for Akali or a tank, optimizing Briar.

Shepherd Viktor

IllaoiMain TankGargoyle Stoneplate, Frozen Heart, Warmog's ArmorOther tank items
NamiSecondary CarryVoid Staff, Jeweled Gauntlet, Spear of ShojinMorellonomicon (if no Sunfire Cape)

Operational Strategy

The hotfix had little impact on Viktor, and Psychic items are still strong. This strong 3-cost comp in S17 is hailed as currently the strongest. Playable condition is having Drone or Symbiotic Implants (2 Psychic items) at the start. The standard comp forms at level 8, consisting of Lissandra, Mordekaiser, Sapling, Pyke, Illaoi, Rhaast, Viktor, and Nami, activating 3 Shepherd, 2 Magician, 2 Darkstar, 2 Wanderer, 2 Armored, 2 Arcanist, 2 Psychic, 1 Savior. Viktor has a long cast time, so pure damage items are recommended; Drone or Symbiotic Implants are best. Illaoi as main tank with pure tank items. Nami as secondary carry to supplement damage and provide utility. Early game, use Zoe or a heavy transition (paired with 2 Future) or 3 Seafolk 2 Future for a lose streak. Around 3-5, go to level 7 and roll, finding the basic comp and 2-star main carry and main tank. Typically, maintain interest to chase 3-stars, then level up. If contested, go to level 8 with 2-stars, complete full synergies and look for 2-star Nami, or pivot to Mech. For positioning, position on the opponent's weak side, allowing Pyke to hook the backline. Sapling stands on the outermost side to take damage early and activate to CC more enemies. Augments prioritize economy or rolling types, then artifact types, finally combat types. For Divine choices, Varus is preferred.

Mech Flex

Difficulty: Medium | Recommendation Index:⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Rising Popularity

HeroRoleRecommended ItemsAlternative Items
Aurelion SolMain CarryJeweled Gauntlet, Rabadon's Deathcap, Void StaffIonic Spark
GalioMain TankGargoyle Stoneplate, Sterak's Gage, Titan's ResolveFrozen Heart, Spirit Visage
Master YiSecondary CarrySpare AD itemsNone

Operational Strategy

This is currently the easiest 4-cost comp to loss streak and stabilize for top 4. It's flexible to build and lower cost, especially suitable for transitioning with AP/tank items or starting with a loss streak. The standard comp is composed of Urgot, Viktor, Galio, Tahm Kench, Master Yi, and Aurelion Sol, activating 6 Mech, 2 Bruiser, 2 Berserker, 2 Psychic. With many AP items, Karma can be raised as a secondary carry. If 4-cost units lack items or gold, you can adjust flexibly. When you can reach level 9 later, you can replace 4-cost units with 5-cost units of the same trait.

Item Analysis: Prioritize 3 perfect items for Aurelion Sol and Galio. Aurelion Sol's core items are Jeweled Gauntlet, Rabadon's Deathcap; the third best is Void Staff, and many artifacts can be used. Galio's standard three items make him very tanky; they can be replaced with Gargoyle Stoneplate, Frozen Heart, Spirit Visage. Note that Masterpiece Upgrade should prioritize Gargoyle Stoneplate. Secondary carry depends on items and rolls; raise Master Yi (as recommended) or Karma (grievous wounds, magic resist shred, for early activation/AP).

Comp Interpretation: This comp, paired with Tahm Kench's solo trait effect, makes it easier to steal (get) 3-star 4-cost units. When you get Radiant items, suitable Yasuo elemental hexes (Ice Hex greatly boosts Galio, Storm Hex is strong for Aurelion Sol), new artifacts, or Spirit items, it also has the potential to win.

Positioning: Galio tanks alone in the frontline. Aurelion Sol positions on the left to be less prone to being flanked.

Augment Recommendations: Prioritize item-related augments to ensure perfect items for dual carries, followed by augments that help chase 3-star 4-cost units, such as Expedition, Patient Virtue, Twin Guardians, Dormant Forge, Solo Stoneplate, Divine Forge, Four-Cost Reinforcements, Savings Account, Glimmering Gold Dragon, Golden Bet ++, Subscription Service, New Recruit. For Divine choices, Yasuo and Kayle are best, followed by Ekko.

In-Game Operation: Early game, use 2 Future / 3 Spirit / 3 Seafolk to transition, accumulating economy and perfect items. Expedition formula: feed 1-cost, 2-cost units for the first two waves, then an average of 3 gold for the next 10 waves. Completes by 3-7 (monsters also count), activate to stabilize HP at 4-1. Around 4-2, go to level 8 and large roll, put in recommended units based on what you find; remember to transform all Mechs. After 2-star Aurelion Sol and Galio, save money. Choose to go to level 9 or chase 3-stars based on contestedness.

ShenMain TankWarmog's Armor, Gargoyle Stoneplate, Dragon's ClawSunfire Cape, Frozen Heart

Operational Strategy

Other emblems have been greatly weakened; now Space Groove Emblem is the strongest. If you have a Spatula, prioritize this comp. In S17, if you have Space Groove Emblem, you can choose this comp. Space Groove Emblem Riven is extremely strong. At level 8, roll for 2 to 3 two-star 4-cost units, then go to level 9 and add Shen. Without Space Groove Emblem, raise the hidden 4-cost Samira. Use 2 Future trait Ezreal to cruise. At level 8, roll for all 2-star units except 5-costs. Carry 2 Future to level 9 and add Shen (if you have items, Pantheon replaces Riven). After getting Blitzcrank and Jhin, you can activate 4 Armored, or continue to benefit from 10 Future trait.

Operational Strategy

Although heavily nerfed before S17 launched, it can still stabilize HP if items are suitable. The core is the Novastar Emblem. After activating 5 Novastar, give the selector to a non-core unit to gain high attack speed and dual resistances, plus a team buff. When Fiora can be 2-star, you can transfer Master Yi's items to her.

Core Equipment

HeroRoleRecommended ItemsAlternative Items
ZoeMain CarryNoneNone
Leona / MordekaiserMain TankNoneNone

Operational Strategy

This comp is extremely demanding under S17.1B version conditions. It requires Ekko's Artifact + Judge effect that restores mana after dealing 10 instances of damage, to allow Zoe to cast infinitely. At level 6, first form the system of 4 Armored + Zoe + Lissandra. Then focus on rolling to chase 3-star Zoe and 3-star Leona / Mordekaiser. Subsequently, level up to find Karma or LeBlanc as secondary carries to further enhance the comp's output.
